Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class consists of
- 10 minute warmup
- 50 minutes of technique from a certain position
- 10 minutes of situational sparing from the position learned that day
- 20 - 50 minutes of live training
We will teach how to control your opponent and defend yourself in the basic positions: Standing, open and closed guard, half guard, side control, knee on stomach, north south, mount, back mount and turtle. Sweeps and submissions will be taught to improve position and finish your opponent.
Gym gis are limited in sizes and quantities, 1st come 1st serve, for beginners only.
Everyone must sign a waiver before training. Anyone under 18 needs to have their parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.
